Ten minutes either way would have made all the difference. Ten minutes earlier could have stopped it happening, ten minutes later and she’d be blissfully ignorant to its occurrence. But as luck would have it, or bad luck depending how you view these things, she got up and walked in at the exact moment for her suspicions to be confirmed and everything changed. If she hadn’t woken up when she did, she might never have woken up at all.
